What we believe
Jesus – our Mighty God – exchanged His glorious throne and heavenly home to be born as a baby. Jesus knows what it is like to be human. He knows hunger and pain and poverty and slander and betrayal and humiliation and rejection. His love for us was so great that He willingly died a gruesome death – crucifixion – so that our brokenness and sin does not have to remain our chains. His resurrection from the dead means that Jesus has triumphed over sin and death! Because of this, we too can live in the victory Jesus secured for us – fully, freely, wholly!
The Leadership Team
HIGHWAY CHURCH is led by a team of elders and deacons. The elders are responsible for the doctrine and direction of the church. They are called to love God’s people and to teach them His Biblical truths. Deacons are appointed to assist with the administration of a church community and their serving is to be exemplary. Both elders and deacons are appointed to love, pray and lead God’s people. They do not take this responsibility lightly. Friendship is important when functioning together and we make every effort to remain a group of friends. Although there are different functions in God’s household, we are all equal in Christ and every Christian is called to encourage and to build up the body of Christ and to be of Godly influence.

Jesus is chasing after His children and it is a privilege to be a part of His work. Being a youth worker and a teacher, it is exciting to see the Kingdom of God expanding through education and our school, The Way Christian School.
