The purpose of the Business Forum is to journey with business people (current and future) beyond their business by restoring them to purpose. To help make this possible, we have teamed up with a USA-based coaching company, SummitTrek Coaching. In a world where we are taught to wear busyness as a badge of honour, the concept of Essentialism pushes back against the accepted norm of living in a state of overwhelm. We will learn that every time we say “yes” to something, we are simultaneously saying “no” to many other things.
The concept of Essentialism teaches that you only have finite energy, effort, and focus. Getting clear on where you direct them will determine the extent of your impact as a leader. Rather than saying “yes” to everything that comes your way, you will learn that the disciplined pursuit of less (not more) is what leads to success.
